About this workshop:
Do you like some color and complication in your kink? How about feeling wrapped in a warm cocoon? Maybe you’re really into scenes that take an obscene amount of time to setup and cleanup? In this intro class we’ll show you the basics of setting up, playing safely, and cleaning up relatively efficiently; all in a fun way.

There are many things to consider when planning a wax play scene and being organized can help reduce the guesswork and increase the safety and pleasure derived from the drippings. 

Presenter Bio:

Shadi (He/Him/His) currently identifies as a Top-leaning S/switch, Neptunic, Non-monogamous, Tiger, with a spritz of goofball. He has over 8 years practicing in the Kink and Tantra communities in San Diego and abroad. To give back, Shadi has volunteered with Club X as a former Director, Ambassador, and Wax Play presenter. 

Trixie (she/her) identifies as a sadomasochist slut. She has been kinky all her life but just joined the kink community a little over a year ago, focusing on educating herself and exploring the vast array of kinky activities that San Diego has to offer. Her main interests are bottoming for impact and wax play and topping for CBT play. Trixie also finds meaningful fulfillment in being of service by volunteering for Club X events.

Identification

Attendees must present valid, physical government-issued identification for entry. The identification must include the attendee's legal first and last name as well as birthdate. (Must be 18 or older)

Accessibility

• Accessibility: Narrow entry hall; one stair-step separates the main space from the kitchen and restrooms; venue now has a portable ramp that can be deployed on request. Steps lead to patio and fire pit. Venue itself is on a hill.
• Restrooms: Two ADA compliant single restrooms with grab bars.
• Lighting: Fluorescent, controlled by dimmers; colorful party lights aimed at ceiling in main room.
• Smoking: Permitted on patio.
• Parking: Small parking lot with one disabled space; the incline of the hill can make it difficult to keep car doors open; additional parking available on hill.
• Transit access: Limited access by one direct bus route that runs until approx. 9:45pm weeknights and approx. 8:30pm Saturdays; limited access by a bus stop 1/2 mile away (one way only) and a trolley station just over 1 mile away; check routes upon receiving address in will-call email.
